Dr. Bhaskar - Chief Legal Officer

Bhaskar is Akati Consulting’s Chief Legal Officer. Working with our industry leaders, Bhaskar develops and drives legal strategies across the enterprise to increase awareness on legal aspects of forensics security for our clients. He is also responsible for implementing best practices and establishing consistent updates, tools and techniques.

With more than 17 years of experience in the legal arena, Bhaskar has an extensive background in International & Comparative Business Law, case management and preparation of Criminal cases including attendance at Police Station, and Contract disputes as well as the whole principles of conveyancing practice.

Bhaskar’s legal experience spans numerous industries and markets, to include: Government, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, Travel & Transportation and Healthcare.

During his tenure as In House Barrister, he has dealt with both civil and criminal litigation. Bhaskar was also trained in Quality Assured legal practice under the ISO9001-2000 standards.

Bhaskar had the opportunity to deal with all types of criminal matters from the ordinary road traffic cases up to murder case including serious fraud and deception cases. The height of his criminal practice was being involved in a very significant murder trial of eight Asians at the Central Criminal Court(Old Bailey), London that had all his firms clients acquitted.

He is frequently an invited speaker on South for You, a live television Asian talk show on Sunday afternoons in London.

He began his career as a part-time lecturer at the London School of Law and eventually became the Founder Member & Trustee of London School of Law. Bhaskar holds Honours and Masters degress in Bachelor of Laws, and Arts from The University of London and Guildhall University where his studies focused on International & Comparative Business Law. He also carries the Degree of the Utter Bar, Middle Temple Inns of Court, a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of England and Wales and a Doctor of Business Administration (Legal Practice Mgt).
